Get Karting

During the half-term holiday a group of students ranging in age from Year 7 to 10 took advantage of a free trip to TeamSport Go-karting in Cardiff.  Twelve students participated at no cost as a result of the school’s arrangement with TeamSport that provides a certain number of free places each term.

The event was also subsidised significantly by Whitchurch Action for Youth (WAY), a local group who are dedicated to providing additional learning opportunities for the young people of the area.  We are very grateful to both TeamSport and WAY for their support.

The students were accompanied by Mr Daniel and Mrs Sue Leat, former Head of Upper School and secretary of WAY.  Everyone had a great time, with Marcus Turner and Andrew Thomas being winners of their respective groups.  Owen Cornick and George Thomas tried desperately to run Mr Daniel off the track, but without any success.  We are hoping to have more opportunities such as this in the future, so keep an eye out for the e-mail.
