Feyi Odunuga Year 9 who has been selected to represent Wales U.16s in Volleyball at the UK School Games. This prestigious event is run annually with the top athletes from schools in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales competing against each other, and we are delighted with Feyi’s inclusion as part of the Welsh Team.

Feyi joined Whitchurch from Italy at the beginning of Year 8. Initially very shy, she has blossomed this year into a very talented all-round athlete. She represented school in the Javelin competition in the Welsh Athletics Finals held in Brecon in July, and has been an integral part of the team’s success this season. Eager to try out new sports, Feyi signed up for Volleyball as an extra-curricular activity organised by 5x60 officers, and her talent and dedication have been rewarded with her selection, to the U.16 squad. We wish Feyi every success in the competition, which this year is being held in North East England from Thursday 2nd September – Sunday 5th September. Good Luck Feyi!!
