5 pupils from Whitchurch High School took part in the first Cardiff Schools Rowing Regatta and had a great afternoon and did themselves and the school proud.

Courtnay Healan (year 8) won the beginner girls singles event, and the team won the mixed coxed 4’s race. Also both Courtnay Healan and Andrew Burt both represented the Cardiff and Vale Schools Rowing Academy at a regatta in Stratford Upon Avon last weekend, and both won gold’s in the beginner section.

A big well done to them all!
