With many strong candidates running for Head Boy and Head Girl for the academic 2011/2012 the sixth form team decided that due to the quality of entrants they would appoint Head Boy, Head Girl and two deputies for each post, these are:

A message from Head Boy Nathan Williams

Ever since I have known about there being a Head Boy I’ve always aspired to be in that position. This year the competition was extremely high with so many excellent candidates. I am extremely proud to have been elected Head Boy by my year group and the teachers, and I am really excited about working with the rest of the 6th form team as we have such a great year with many great individuals.

With such a strong team representing and leading the school we can all look forward to an enjoyable, eventful and successful year full of lots of great ideas that the team and I will look to introduce.

We will be looking to create more societies for everyone to improve their overall school lives. With 2012 being the Olympic and Paralympics year we as a school will look to introduce the values of the games and also promote sport and other activities throughout the entire school.
By using the experience of the older pupils to help the younger students we will look to encourage a closer community, and through enthusiasm, drive and dedication everyone can make sure that by the end of the next academic year we are all proud of our legacy.

A message from Head Girl Jessica Griffiths

With so many strong candidates running for the position of Head Girl this year I'm extremely honoured to be chosen to represent such an outstanding school. I have a passion for the needs of Whitchurch High and I'm extremely excited to adapt my own ideas to help the school make this a thriving and pleasing year.

Our sixth form team is very strong, with some great individuals who have the motivation and drive to succeed!

We are all so excited to get stuck into our roles in the next academic year. With a great team, there are plenty of new ideas that we're enthusiastic about and want to put forward and make happen.

We aspire to encourage everyone to get involved in the success of this year, integrating the lower school pupils, the upper school students and the whole community around them. Our inspiration comes from the people of Whitchurch and we're ready for the challenge!

All six of us are willing to give it our full commitment and aim to make this a memorable year.
