No, nothing to do with horse racing, but an Autology award for another member of the Darby family.  Following on from her brother Alex’s success in winning the national Autology award for November, Marie-Louise Darby of Year 10 has won the award for January.

This is in recognition of her constructive use of the Autology search engine to assist with her learning at GCSE.  Any teacher who knows Marie will most certainly verify both her commitment and ability in her studies and no-one could be more deserving of such recognition.  Well done to her.
