Cardiff Schools Rugby Presentation

The Cardiff schools presentation evening this year was held on Friday 1st July at Cardiff Rugby Club. The evening is held annually to celebrate the success of Cardiff school representative side and the school successes within the Cardiff schools league and cup programme.
Once again this year it was a very proud night for the school, with the following cups and league awards being presented to our team representatives.

Under 13 Premier League Western Mail Shield: Owen Lane / Liam O’Connor
Under 13 Division 2 ‘B’ Team League Paddy Power Shield Runners Up: Prafula Timila

Under 14 Selwyn Wyatt Cup (Joint trophy winners with Radyr): Sam Brinkworth / Liam Free
Under 14 7’s Winners Reg Night Cup: Sam Brinkworth / Liam Free

Under 15 Mrs M Cronin Cup (Joint trophy winners with Glan Taf): Rory Harries / Richard Singer
Under 15 Premier Echo Shield Runners Up: Rory Harries / Richard Singer

Under 16 Walter Locke Shield Runner Up: Pat Wear

Further congratulations must also go to Richard Singer, David Huntley and Rory Harries of Year 10, who gaained their Cardiff school caps and were part of the team that beat Rhondda in the Dewar Shield Final held at the Millennium Stadium.

In addition to this, Jack Marshall Sam Owen of Year 10, and Sam Brinkworth and Liam Free of Year 9 were also presented with CSRU Photographs and ‘A’ team tankards
