Year 11 in Broadhaven

On Thursday 6th January after school a group of serious Year 11 learners left school bound for Broadhaven Youth Hostel in the company of Mr Workman, Mr Rees, Mrs Radford, Miss Arthur and Miss Collins to participate in a residential study skills course.

The whole party had an excellent time in this beautiful coastal setting with a mixture of learning and fun activities. Learning sessions were in Mathematics, English and Study Skills and we had great fun during evening activities such as a quiz and a team building design competition. We also enjoyed a game of rounder’s on the beach in the rain.

The work ethic of the group was superb and we look forward to working further with this group between now and the GCSE examinations.
