Andorra 2011
The 15th April 2011 saw this year’s Physical Education Department skiing trip, this year to Andorra, depart from Upper School for the gruelling bus journey of 26 hours. After several films and a restless sleep we arrived to glorious weather and very little snow.
We stayed at the Marco Polo Hotel in La Massana, and each morning travelled 50 minutes to Arcalis where the skiing conditions were excellent.
The party was separated into 3 groups - beginners, intermediate and advanced and were all taken on the slopes by local instructors and spent several hours per day skiing and catching a great sun tan.
The week was an excellent experience for all that attended.
