On Tuesday 8 Dec three year 8 pupils attended a special prize giving ceremony at Race Equality First, the Friary Centre where the Lord Mayor of Cardiff presented them with £50 vouchers and a cheque for £150 for the School. The competition was to design a poster to promote racial equality. They received entries from schools all over Cardiff of all different age groups.
Tea Jones 8G won the Race Equality poster design and Elliot Lewis 8L and Toby O’Leary 8J were the proud winners of the calendar entries. The poster and calendar will now be distributed in council premises all over Cardiff.
