Year 7 in Llangrannog

Once again all forty year 7 pupils had a wonderful time at the Urdd Youth Camp at Llangrannog. The weather was very kind and we enjoyed several walks to the beautiful beach in the warm sunshine. Pupils were able to practise their Welsh language skills by conversing with the helpful staff and everybody could partake in activities that they had never tried before. A week of non stop activities, adventure and enjoyment ensured that all pupils left with precious memories of their visit.
Cafwyd amser bendigedig unwaith eto ar ein taith flynyddol i Langrannog. Roedd y tywydd yn garedig iawn ac felly aethom i'r traeth godidog a gwres yr haul ar ein cefnau. Bu'r disgyblion yn medru ymarfer eu sgiliau iaith wrth gyfathrebu a'r staff hyfryd. Roedd digon o gyfle i bawb gael blas ar wahanol weithgareddau newydd a diddororol. Yn sicr, roedd pawb wedi blino'n lan ar ol mwynhau wythnos llawn o weithgareddau anturus a fyddai'n aros yn eu cof am byth.
REPORTS BY YEAR 7 PUPILS ON VISIT TO LLANGRANNOG
Llangrannog is a great place because you do five activities a day and you get to do a further activity at night. The four meals a day are delicious and keep your energy levels high! Your ability to speak Welsh is increased due to the daily Welsh classes which are fun. My favourite activities were horse riding, skiing, go-carting, toboganning and quad biking! I can strongly recommend a visit to Llangrannog because it's an exciting and fun place with a beautiful beach that everybody must visit. KIRSTEN STEERE 7F
I had a great time at Llangrannog! My favourite activities were quad biking and the rope course. You get an opportunity to exeperience activities that you may not have tried befores uch as skiing, toboganning,go-carting and many more. The Urdd Centre is not far from the beach so we had a paddle in the sea (very cold!). At night we did team building exercises, folk dancing and we all got dressed up for the disco on the last night. I would definitely recommend a visit to Llangrannog - it was a truly wonderful experience. AIMEE TOWNSEND. 7F
