Ms. McJennett's Year 9 Drama pupils were lucky to be clowning around in their lesson when she organised a circus workshop with “ nofitstate” Circus Company.

The workshop, organised with the help of Jamie (5x60 officer), was for young students to experience the opportunity of becoming involved in exciting contemporary circus skills.

 

The 1 hour long sessions included hand/eye co-ordination games, juggling, diablo, hat throwing skills and finally “The Human Pyramid”.

 

Ms. McJennett is currently organising an after school club, with nofitstate, where students can have the chance to learn Trapeze, Acrobatics, Tightwire, Stilt-walking and Unicycling.
