Whitchurch High School was privileged to be invited to visit the teenage cancer ward at the University Hospital of Wales on Friday 23rd January 2009.  A group of year 7 pupils, accompanied by Mr Huw Jones- Williams (Head Teacher), Mrs Jennie Griffiths (Year 7 Learning Leader) and Mrs Aileen Dando (Year 7 Pastoral Assistant), were given a tour of the new £3.4m SkyPad development which will ensure the treatment of teenage cancer patients from across Wales.

Whitchurch High School have played a significant role in helping the charity achieve their goal and today donated yet another cheque for £1717.00.
