At Whitchurch High School we place great emphasis on our links with our partner primary schools. These links have been recognised by Estyn ‘curricular links with primary schools are good and allow for a smooth transition to secondary education’ (March 2003), and by the WSSA when singling out Whitchurch High School for a Key Stage 2/3 award in 2004.
The links are important in ensuring that the transition between primary and secondary school is as seamless as possible. This facilitates pupil progress academically, socially and pastorally and thus enables pupils to reach their full potential. |
