This year, we went to “Le Pari” with the welsh department it was so much fun. The Welsh Festival at Paris celebrated St David’s Day in style with winners of the Urdd Eisteddfod performing on stage for the first time and even Mickey and Minney were dressed in Welsh traditional costume.

We were travelling for 17 hours all together which may seem long to you but because we were all excited it seemed only a few hours to us. After a good night sleep we were in Paris our destination.  We then went straight to the Disneyland Park and there was so much to do there rides for all your tastes like the Rocking Rollercoaster and Space mountain for those dare devils that liked thrilling rides, Mr. Evans and Mrs. Williams dragged Miss Batten on the Tower of Terror and she was terrified!! She still had fun though. But if you did not like big rides there was always the Fantasy Land were Small World and The Dumbo rides were, they were not as thrilling but still fun.

If you ever got hungry there were always somewhere to eat like Mickey’s Café or Planet Hollywood but most of us went with something familiar like McDonalds or Starbucks.

There were also loads of places to buy souvenirs for family or friends like Mickey or Minnie mouse key rings. We then went for a ride round Paris at night and then for a lovely meal. When we finally went back to our hotel most of us went straight to sleep from being tired out from all the rides.

The next day we went to the Park again and went on more of the rides that we didn’t get to go on the day before, and buy last minute presents.

On our final day in Paris we got on the bus bright and early to set of home, some people were still tired so they had a little sleep on the bus, we arrived back home at 7:15 with great memories and new friends. I had a great time in Paris I want to go again soon.

Taith Yr Adran Gymraeg i Wyl Dewi Sant ym Mharis 2010. 

Unwaith eto cawsom hwyl a sbri ym Mharis ar daith  i ddathlu’r Wyl Gymreig ym mharc Euro Disney. Aeth 41 o ddisgyblion blwyddyn 9 a 4 o athrawon o’r adran Gymraeg. Am y tro cyntaf erioed, gyda noddiad mudiad yr Urdd, bu cyfle i weld  buddugwyr yr Eisteddfod yn perfformio ar y llwyfan yn Euro Disney. Roedd cyfle i brynu  nwyddau Cymreig ymhlith y nifer o stondinau yn y parc ac roedd Mickey a Minnie yn edrych yn odidog yn eu gwisg traddodiadol Cymreig. Roeddwn yn ffodus i weld golyfeydd ysblennydd Paris gyda’r nos cyn cael swper Eidalaidd gwych. Bu pawb yn mwynhau ar y reidiau ac yn mynd adref ag atgofion bythgofiadwy o’u taith i Baris.
