Jane Davidson the Minister for Education and Lifelong Learning officially opened the new Sports Hall on the Upper School site this week. Mrs Davidson was greeted by Mr Gareth Matthewson (Head Teacher) and Mrs Joyce Crandon (Chairperson of the Board of Governors).

The PE Department (headed by Mr Gwyn Morris) showed the honoured guest the vast range of sports activities that goes on at Whitchurch High School and was entertained by the Girls Dance team.
