The Twentieth-Century World: Pupils should be taught about aspects of twentieth-century world history. They should be taught about some major events and developments which have shaped the modern world, through studies of the impact of world war and changes in twentieth-century society, including the role of significant individuals. Where appropriate, this should include the impact of these events and developments on Wales.
