Students had to form and run a design company whose task was to design and manufacture a number of gift bags that would promote an important event e.g. Rugby World cup/ St Davids day / Christmas etc.

The gift bags had to be manufactured to a high standard and the price that each company got for each bag depended on how the managers sold their product to a team of Dragons in a similar exercise to the television programme.

Prizes were awarded for the following categories:-

Best teamwork

• Best presentation.

• Best poster / Point of sale.

• Most profitable company.

A very enjoyable day was had by all and the students should be complemented on the way that they conducted themselves throughout the exercise. The standard of products and presentations surpassed all expectations.
